Col has been actively involved in the Australian Travel Industry since 1973 when he established National Bank Travel – a retail and corporate travel network which became the largest ‘bank owned Travel business by 1977 and an Industry leader.

He subsequently was appointed General Manager Burns Philip Travel, a major Retail and Corporate Travel Network, which he headed before selling the Business to Jetset Travel in 1987. He was eventually elevated to the position of ‘Commercial Director’ responsible for all operating Divisions in Australia and New Zealand (Retail, Franchising, Wholesale and Consolidation and GSA’s).

He then accepted a position with Ansett Airlines with responsibility for their Retail Division and later the direct distribution of their wholesale products of which Bali was central.

More recently Col accepted a contract to establish SYNERGI Travel Australia a major Travel Management Company that acquired Jetset Business Travel and other corporate agencies during a three-year period before the Company was acquired by Navigant International who partnering with TQ3 were a major global operation.

Col is passionate about helping people and enjoys creating harmonious and positively charged team oriented working environments.

He is a keen traveller and Bali is his favourite destination where he believes the people and culture leads the world being both gentle and caring.

Col has set up his own Consulting Company, ‘Collaborative Consulting’ to provide corporate advisory services and mentoring to travel related businesses.

Col holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Melbourne University majoring in Accounting, Economics and Law together with formal Accounting Qualifications.
